Pain Killers is the prologue episode of my thesis project, Out of Love. In it, I overtly express my avoidance towards feeling, to the point I fantasized having the butterflies I felt for someone now not in my life ripped out; I didn't mind the pain, but not the suffering. It started as a collage/drawing project with a newfound friendhsip over the summer, eventually blossoming and becoming part of my largest and most challenging project, both the drawing and the friend.
